"ADVANCING MULTIDISCIPLINARY APPROACHES FOR SUSTAINABLE CONSTRUCTION AND PROJECT MANAGEMENT" This was the theme, this year, for the 3rd annual  Construction Business and Project Management Conference 2025, that took place at the UCT Graduate School of Business, in Cape Town, South Africa, from the 23rd to the 25th of April. Conference presenters, panelists and guest speakers, included, Mr Bongani Dladla, the CEO, of the Construction Industry Development Board (the CIDB);  Mr Lufuno Ratsiku, the President of the South African Council for the Project and Construction Management Professions (SACPCMP);  Mr Theunis Van Zyl, the Founding Director of Van Zyl & Associates; Mr Jacob De La Rey, the Director of Claims and Consulting at HKA Global. Because, dum- dum- dum... It's time, once again, for the Comic Con Cape Town 2025. It's also going to be held in Johannesburg, from the 28th to 03rd of August 2025, at the Johannesburg Expo Centre. But, if you are in Cape Town, and able to get a ticket, you can attend so much earlier. Other than meeting other like-minded comic book fans, there will be so much to enjoy by Comic Con Cape Town 2025, this May. Cape Town Carnival 2025

March 13th 2025, The City, showcased once again  why it is known,  as the best city in the world, when it held its annual Cape Town Carnival.  With dazzling floats, electrifying performances, and stunning costumes, even the weather played its part. Fifteen years has not dulled the Carnival festivities, that has become better and better every year, thanks to the hard work and passion of the Cape Town  Carnival Trust, and the City of Cape Town. This year, for the first time, the DHL Stormers rugby team, participated, and on  their 5meters in-length, float  called 'Taking the Cape by Storm' they brought the crowds to their feet. Leading the Parade, was 100 Harley Davidson bikes, 15 Jeeps, 35 Police Officers, a jet-ski with the Proudly South African flag flying high, 17 Firefighters and their Firetruck. After a full day, of discussion,  there was a network-exibition area available for the delegates.  So, if you had any questions,  there was help available,  from the various speakers, from Proudly South African,  to NexisLexis Solutions.  All in all, a great start to the year, and a taste of what the year will bring to the African financial landscape.  Everyone worked hard to make this event possible. 2nd installment: the Digital Retail Africa event 2025

Hi again.  Its lunch and this is the day, so far. The day began,  with some much needed rain. Coffee/tea were provided, with something to eat. At 8, I received my pass, that was in the form of an i.d card. Cool. 😎 All around me, everyone was networking, taking advantage  of the opportunities, of meeting new people, for the new year.
