Conference presenters, panelists and guest speakers, included, Mr Bongani Dladla, the CEO, of the Construction Industry Development Board (the CIDB); Mr Lufuno Ratsiku, the President of the South African Council for the Project and Construction Management Professions (SACPCMP); Mr Theunis Van Zyl, the Founding Director of Van Zyl & Associates; Mr Jacob De La Rey, the Director of Claims and Consulting at HKA Global. March 13th 2025, The City, showcased once again why it is known, as the best city in the world, when it held its annual Cape Town Carnival. With dazzling floats, electrifying performances, and stunning costumes, even the weather played its part. Fifteen years has not dulled the Carnival festivities, that has become better and better every year, thanks to the hard work and passion of the Cape Town Carnival Trust, and the City of Cape Town. This year, for the first time, the DHL Stormers rugby team, participated, and on their 5meters in-length, float called 'Taking the Cape by Storm' they brought the crowds to their feet. Leading the Parade, was 100 Harley Davidson bikes, 15 Jeeps, 35 Police Officers, a jet-ski with the Proudly South African flag flying high, 17 Firefighters and their Firetruck.
