From the 25th to 29th May 2025, the Urban Action Festival 2025, is set to begin.

Sponsored by RISE AFRICA, a Community Platform, that fosters Connection, and the breaking down of Barriers, this Festival is sure to challenge your understanding of the African Urban landscape.


Taking place in the city of Cape Town, this festival promises Thinker, Doers, and Enablers, who will inspire dialogue and Action, about what is needed, within African and Global cities, for now and the future.

Some issues to be discussed, include:
*Planning of a city,
*Transportation,
*Urban-Rural linkages,
*African Urbanism,
*Inclusiveness,
*Climate Action,
*And more...

Speakers include, many stakeholders, who will explore various topics, and offer possible solutions, are: Nareem Al- Amin, Kobie Brand, Jokudu Guyu, Bongiwe Simka, Edgar Pieterse, and many more.

Cape Town Carnival 2025

March 13th 2025, The City, showcased once again  why it is known,  as the best city in the world, when it held its annual Cape Town Carnival.  With dazzling floats, electrifying performances, and stunning costumes, even the weather played its part. Fifteen years has not dulled the Carnival festivities, that has become better and better every year, thanks to the hard work and passion of the Cape Town  Carnival Trust, and the City of Cape Town. This year, for the first time, the DHL Stormers rugby team, participated, and on  their 5meters in-length, float  called 'Taking the Cape by Storm' they brought the crowds to their feet. Leading the Parade, was 100 Harley Davidson bikes, 15 Jeeps, 35 Police Officers, a jet-ski with the Proudly South African flag flying high, 17 Firefighters and their Firetruck.
