Day Two of Windaba

Image
The exhibition area opened, so the public, like me, can see whats-what with wind energy. Very interesting stuff, be back tomorrow for pictures and filming. Just came from the Exhibition Hall, and I am already tired. Still have the other half of the exhibiters to meet. I am quite interested in one of the sessions at eleven, so I will attend that one  Met the other half of the exhibiters. Tea and back into the sessions. The day ended with a cocktail networking event. I just discovered, that WindAC, is being held the same time as Windaba, unless I got my wires crossed. I'll look into it. And that's it people. See you tomorrow. 🙋

Windaba: where alternative energy isn't just solar energy.

Morning, planet Earth Today I, Spacer77, will be attending the South African Wind Energy Association conference, also known as SAWEA. It will last from today, the 01st to Thursday, the 03rd. Before I began researching,'alternative energy for the future', I only knew a little about wind energy in South Africa. Here is a map of where the most wind is in South Africa. This information was gathered in 2020.  It is a wind atlas of South Africa. Most wind farms are situated along our coast, but also other places, as seen by the colour red on the atlas. Interesting stuff, hey. I hope to be meeting with the people who are involved with the wind energy sector, so that everyone can know more about this energy alternative. Till next time, this is Spacer77.

A happy bird.
